This beautifully detailed large advent calendar depicts one of the most beautiful landmarks of Freiberg, the historic Schwanenschlösschen, a eye catching restaurant that sits on the water.
The scene on this greeting card is in winter with children ice skating, sledding and playing hockey on the frozen pond. The Schwanenschlösschen is fully trimmed for Christmas and welcomes townsfolk with the warm glow from it's many windows.
The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
