Bavarian-Style Porcelain Beer Steins

These decorative German beer steins are a great symbol of the traditional Southern German city of Munich. The porcelain design gives this mug a sleek, glossy, and vibrant finish that makes it perfect for beer drinkers and serious stein collectors alike.German Porcelain Beer Stein with Pewter Lid

The traditional “Munich Child” is considered to be a symbol of the city, and is brilliantly depicted here offering greetings from Munich, Germany. This stein comes complete with a polished pewter lid, and its design represents that of a traditional ceramic German beer stein.

Able to hold a half liter of your favorite sudsy beverage, these steins are great for serving your guests at parties, special occasions, social get-togethers, and all other festive events.

Benefits of Porcelain and Ceramic Beer Steins

Before the invention of mass produced, affordable pewter and glass, ceramic mugs were the most common beer drinking vessels of choice. Their thick, insulated design made them durable, they were relatively cheap to produce, and their smooth surface makes stone easy to clean.

Porcelain and ceramic beer mugs are still in use today, and they are often considered to be the supreme drinking vessels by many beer drinking purists. Porcelain, while it is more delicate than fire treated stoneware, pewter mugs, and other modern mugs, it still makes an excellent material for decorative and collector beer steins.
