Product Description
This German advent calendar features a free standing 3D design with Christmas trees framing the inner scene. Fritz Baumgarten (1883-1966) created a happy Christmas world of Gnomes with his charming illustrations. The Gnomes carry holiday goods to their forest tree home as angels enter leading a Christmas parade.
First published in the 1950s, this nostalgic calendar is now being reprinted true to the original.
The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
