Product Description
This unique German advent calendar folds out to a free standing advent lantern in which a light can be placed to make the windows glow as you open them during the advent season.
Open the doors each day during December to reveal the village residents' preparations for Christmas. With each window opened, the lantern will glow just a little bit more each day.
Illustrator Raphaela Berendt with her charming watercolor has skillfully captured the anticipation of Christmas.
The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open, illuminating the wintry scene. Each door has a little picture behind it where you can learn about the Nisse and the animals that keep them company. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
