Product Description

The main motif of this German advent calendar, originally printed in 1961, is the Christmas star.  Hosts of angels rejoice in the heavens, playing music as the wise men travel the snowy landscape to the town of Bethlehem seen in the distance.  Woodland animals gather to see the holy scene.

The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
