This German Christmas advent calendar shows a snow-covered village with children sledding down the main path to greet Santa. Windows glow in the crisp starry night. A snowman watches the scene from the Church grounds as a boy walking a dog race to find what Santa has brought them in his sack of toys.

The detailed picture has 24 little doors to open. Each door has a little picture behind it. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1 thru December 24. Children love to open a door a day as they count down to Christmas.
