The body of this beer stein is smooth, black glazed, high quality stoneware. Along the top border are the words, "The history of the Battleship Bismarck" in German. The two sides of the beer stein chronicle the ship's history from 1935 to her sinking in May of 1941 and her discovery in 1989. The pewter badge depicts a front view of the Bismarck, the ships symbol and reads "Schlachtschiff Bismarck" (Battleship Bismarck). Above the badge are images of admiral Lutjens, Otto von Bismarck and Captain Lindemann. The pewter lid is adorned with a miniature pewter Bismarck. Limited edition of 5,000 individually numbered beer steins Worldwide!
