Hand painted, this rustic and brown colored beer stein depicts a man giving a beer maiden a compliment, as she turns her head and blushes.  The scene is placed in a traditional Franconian Gasthaus or pub with plenty of beer mugs set out on the rustic table.  Ornate scrolls and flowers adorn the sides and rim.  Franconia was a region of southern Germany dating back to the 10th century, now largely comprised of the modern day state of Bavaria.
