The famous Church of St. Nicholas, the alpine chapel where "Silent Night" was first performed in the year 1818, is depicted in hand painted accents on this Christmas beer stein.

The chapel is coated from a fresh snow fall and the sides bear bouquets of the traditional alpine Edelweiss flowers.  The handle also bears Edelweiss framing the words "Froehliche" (Merry) on one side and "Weihnachten" (Christmas) on the other.

This stein features a dark cobalt blue background on each side with 24K gold accents framing the chapel and relief decoration.
