This highly detailed and hand painted stein was molded by Peter Duemler, one of the best sculptors for steins in the 2nd half of the 19th century.

Patricians or Noblemen from the Middle Ages are depicted in between Roman columns & arches. Patricians of this time were distinguished, wealthy and able-bodied citizens- often the head of rich merchant families.
